Who we are supporting
All sponsorship funds raised will go towards supporting the fantastic work of Weston Hospicecare. Weston Hospicecare deliver expert palliative care for those with life-limiting illnesses in Weston-super-Mare and North Somerset. Their base, Jackson-Barstow House, is a 10 bedroom inpatient unit (IPU), along with a day and wellbeing centre. To find out more about their amazing work, please visit their website.
How to raise money
To help support this excellent charity, we are asking that all entrants to the fun run collect sponsorship money and donate it to Weston Hospicecare (ideally a minimum of £20 sponsorship per participant). Family and friends can sponsor as much or as little as they like and those who are tax payers can choose to Gift Aid their donation to make their money go even further (at no cost to you). You can be sponsored per km or for the whole run. Find out more about how you can do this in the section below.
To help you raise sponsorship, you will be guided to set up a JustGiving page to help you raise money online, which will go directly to Weston Hospicecare. By setting up a JustGiving page you can tell your sponsors why you are raising money for this fantastic cause.
